The Book of Mormon

Though some may argue the fact, the truth is that the Book of Mormon is the best book on earth.

Even more strictly said, the Book of Mormon is the best book for young adults on earth. Through this blog, much has been said concerning young adult literature. Though any book any young adult reads is bound to provide something. A lesson, insight or just plain enjoyment.

The Book of Mormon, however, provides all of those things and more. Joseph Smith, former prophet of the LDS church said this:

"I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book."

Though perhaps this astounding book is not at the top of the ALA Teen Read Weekly list, the Book of Mormon should be at the top of our daily reading lists. The Book of Mormon is not only a book of stories and journals to be read, but an instruction guide to be studied and poured over.

It is a book that will, as Joseph Smith said, bring us nearer to God. And that will help us every day, any day, with whatever we are going through.

The Book of Mormon is everything! There is no book better for adults and young adults and even children alike. It will strengthen testimonies of the Savior, Jesus Christ, and will renew our faith in a God who loves us and cares about us.

As we study its pages and learn from its chapters, we will become the best forms of ourselves.
